About us
Kaukaan Lyly is a workplace sports club from Lappeenranta, founded in 1940.
The purpose of Kaukaan Lyly ry is to promote physical activity, sports, recreation, and activities that help maintain work ability and functional capacity.
Lyly's operations consist of activities at its sports hall and various sports divisions. At the sports hall, members can play tennis, floorball, volleyball, badminton, and basketball. The hall also features a gym that is actively used. In addition, a wide range of group exercise classes are organized at the hall.
Besides the sports hall, Lyly owns another property, Hyötiö Sauna, which can also be rented for leisure use.
Services
Ball sports hall
In the ball sports hall, you can enjoy indoor ball games such as basketball, floorball, badminton, and volleyball.
Tennis hall
Play tennis year-round on a high-quality indoor court.
Gym
A well-equipped gym for athletes of all levels, featuring high-quality machines and free weights for strength training.
Group exercise
A diverse selection of group exercise classes is held weekly in the ball sports hall, including crosstraining and kettlebell workouts.
Boathouse
Boathouse located in Pappilanniemi. Several different types of rowing boats available.
Hyötiö Sauna
A cozy sauna facility on the shore of Lake Saimaa. The sauna's address is Mikonsaarentie 25, Lappeenranta.
Outdoor tennis courts
Outdoor tennis courts are available during the summer next to the Kaukaa Club. The club's address is Kaukaankatu 26, Lappeenranta.
